REVAMPING OF THE TEACHING METHODOLOGY

 The COVID-19 virus has obstructed all lives. With schools being closed and lockdowns imposed, students are spending an ample amount of time at home and out of which most of their time are sent online. Being online, children are provided with a lot of valuable opportunities to learn, socialize, and gain information from numerous sources.

To establish clarity, Hera Public School has ensured that communications should be done in a centralized manner. Proper communication should be maintained between teachers, students, and their parents. Regular meetings are to be conducted with teachers for discussing various issues and providing feedback on the new ways to make learning significant.

WELLBEING

Living at home during lockdown is stressful for students as well. Hera Public School has urged their teachers to create a learning environment for parents so that they can easily understand. Students are provided with time to complete their assignments, and for them, various doubt solving sessions are conducted.

SIMPLICITY

Hera has worked by providing videos and notes online, which has helped students in their learning. Lessons were also set at the same time daily for students to maintain a routine for learning.

 

Working through online methodology, lead to some critical matters –

Communication being the backbone, various modes like sending of advance information of the schedule or their study material came handy. Teachers followed a simple way of recording their lectures at home and sharing it with the class on a priority basis. Students, parents, and teachers have all evolved with positivity and used this the situation as a growth opportunity.
